Focused on the future

The printing profession is exciting for two reasons. First, it’s always evolving. Second, there is still a role for human beings amid the high technology.

Over the generations, Léonce Deprez has seen the need for constant adaptation, always acquiring new expertise, and then challenging it. While the traditions of the profession were instilled in the company in 1922, its management has always had its eye on the future. No doubt, 80 years of publishing a magazine called L’Avenir (The Future) has been an excellent incentive! More particularly, for the past 20 years, as we have transformed from a press printing house into a commercial one that has served first France and more recently Northern Europe, we have spared no effort in creating an environment conducive to improving productivity and staying ahead of the competition.

After the Ruitz site, dedicated to small and medium-sized paginations and press runs, the launch of a second production unit at Arras, devoted to 32 pages, is a real challenge. More than ever, both sites have an industrial orientation, but they were conceived with an idea that is integral to our work: responsibility for sustainable development. As a result, we have recently been awarded the national “Imprim vert” label.

The important human dimension of our profession can be seen in our notion of service. All of our strategic decisions consider the “service provider”, who is also the printer, including the pressure the client is under and our responsiveness to their demands. This requires unceasing team motivation, constant questioning and plenty of communication, and it highlights goal improvement.
