A site centred on productivity
With the Arras site, our production force has grown 25 percent. The two duplex rotary presses installed in spring 2006 can reach mechanical speeds of 60,000 pieces per hour.
This new unit is designed to produce under optimal lead times to satisfy the needs of our customer base, which mainly consists of magazine publishers. It keeps us competitive in the North European printing market.
Safety and flexibility
At Ruitz, the equipment consists of two Komori rotary presses, one of which is a new-generation, 16-page model: with faster plating, they easily cruise at 45,000 pieces per hour. In addition, they have two advantages: their fifth group, which allows the use of Pantone colours, a gold, silver or fluorescent ink; and their sheeting, which allows for diversified production.
A production tool for diversified performance
The print quality — already sustainable thanks to electronic gripping and registration equipment — has been significantly reinforced by the CIP3 protocol. All of our ink fountains are now networked to our CTP lines, allowing direct reading of our digital files, for fast, reliable inking.
